Christmas potluck lunch

This year one of our colleague suggested to have potluck for Christmas lunch. So each department came out with a dish. Be it you cook or buy. As long as it's food, no one care! We got gift exchange too. Budget per gift is below $15. Quite fun but tense too as our MD joined us.

 

Additional workloads

Well, new territories was given to me in Sept 2014! All UK customers in UK office! More than 50 I can said and according to my boss, there'll be more sales persons in UK to get more new customers! So I ask my boss, u mean I have to handle all those new one as wll! Her replies is becos u are in charge of UK customers! I told her if that is the case, I doubt I can cope too! With maintaining current workloads + additional customers! Unfair, unfair & so unfair! Additional workloads with NO additional increment of salary! WTF!!

 

And I stayed late today till 945pm then leave office!!!

Tom Yam glass noodle

1st attempt too. Recipe from my colleague. It was nice actually as I put many ingredients of what I likes. Prawn/ Celery/ Chix & crab meat. I cook 3 packets of glass noodles & bring to lunch with my colleagues. Total of 6 paxs having. And emptied the container within half an hour. Yippee.

 

 

Down with flu n cough

Pissed that once again I am down with flu and cough! All thanks to my hubby who every months got these 2 gd friends visiting! And now these 2 good friends visit us too! Even my maid got it! Please stay away from my baby !!!!!!

 

MC on 11/12/2013 1 day instead of 2 days Doctor has given me! Haiz! better come to work lor, as my Company is soooooo concerned about how many days mc we took!

Scam!

My colleague has lobang for iPad air at $600! Me & Serene was so glad to know it! The only thing is we need to transfer or pay for the items ASAP in irder to get the stock! First come first serve basic! We trusted this colleague of ours so without asking more questions i transfer $600 & serene trf $1800 for 3 orders yesterday! 

Supposingly to get it this morning! And serene got a phone call from My colleague showing her all the conversation he had with the seller and also they message the seller too! The seller claimed need another $1500 to clear custom as the goods are stuck there! Of cos we are not transferring another more $ to him! In a sense that he's very smart to ask for that as my friend paid him $8400 for 14 sets! So he think for sure we will transfer to get all goods!

Anyway my colleague went to make police report this afternoon & told is he will pay us the $ in installment since he is the one recommend this lobang! Let's hope he pays us! Shall see next month did he pay!

Newborn gift for colleague

Got a pink dress & fisherprice toy from Kiddy Palace for my cokkeague's 2nd new born yesterday. $39.90 each! Why nowadays toys are so expensive especially branded toys. Kids also throw n dump etc.. Just becos it is non-toxin? When I was young, my most exp toy is Barbie doll. The rest of my toys are from "pasar"! Lol
 

Busy from 8 to 15 Nov

My senior went on leave and I have to take over her duties! That 1 week was an nightmare! So many emails/ orders/ issues come together! I was damn busy till no time to poo! And work overtime for few nights! 

I always believed if a person on leave! Sure a lot of job/ customers issue ato settle! Pissed but no choice still need to help her complete shipment😊

Very very sleepy

Start my surfing on Taobao again! And till 1am! Finally myself to sleep but SITI knock on my door! Oh dear my darling baby woke up & when SITI feeds him milk he vomited after 40ml on siti's cloth & his own pyjamas! I carried him while SITI changed her cloth! 

After that I did not sleep immediately cos didn't want to leave my baby with SITI alone middle of night! I want him to fall asleep first before I go back to bed! Ended up wait till 330am!

That caused my tiredness and sleepiness! Gosh!!!! I am damn sleepy now at work! Help!!! Now is only 430pm! Another one and a half hour to go!!!!

Blossoms for Christina

Wanted to make her a simple fondant cake but due to time consuming, I made her blossom instead! Ellard don't want to sleep when he still see me doing the blossoms on dining table! He drags till 10 plus quite grouchy then I carry & tap him sleep! I feel he wants me to make him sleep at nights usually! So back to blossoms after put him in playpen.  

I do simple blossoms for her as it already near 11pm! Pipe happy birthday Christina  wording on each blossoms. Spare one just decor some polka dot or heart blossom. 1am when I look at the clock n I went for quick shower & headed to bed! Tired to the max!

New/old colleague

Finally went back to work on 9/9/13 after 1 mth leave taking care of baby! Hoping to see our new colleague yet she on mc that day! Christina only told me out new colleague is a 51 yrs old granny of 2!

Next day 10/9, as usual headed straight to my seat. Just sat down and hear ppl calling me opposite my seat! I stand up to see & realised our new colleague is actually my ex colleague SERENE TAN from Sumitomo! That was 12 yrs ago! My god!!! Small world indeed! N so happy to bump into her after so many years! At least I have some motivation to go to work:)

Baby

After sudden resigned of my maid. I took 2 days leave My brother in law suggested we place baby at his place for their maid to take care of him since their 2 children already grown up. I have prepared a bag of baby stuffs and we visited their home on Sunday night 11 Aug 2013 for dinner. Meanwhile to test baby whether ok to go their house. My boy, as usual, cries non stop when entered their house and even louder when saw my bro in law! Their maid tried to carry and pacify him also useless!

Supposed to bring more baby stuffs on Tuesday and at the same time to train the maid how to prepre baby foods etc & baby's schedule daily. But after much thoughts about baby needs sarong to sleep and I have to dismantle the sarong and bring back every nights when bring baby home which is soooo inconvenienced! And I can only think of a way is to take unpaid leave to look after baby myslf till new maid arrived! And I message my boss of cos and she checked with HR and requested me to clear all my anuual and childcare leaves then the rest will applied for unpaid leave! So of cos I agreed! Of cos nothing is more important than my baby now, be it my job is at stake!

Well, it really tiring to look after baby this 1 week as my boy hardly get into sleep and drink too. If he can easily fall asleep then things will be better. And also at night he will wake up too & need 2 hrs to fall back to sleep! Either 1-3am or 4-6am! Gosh!!!

We confirmed new maid under Jayamaid agency at Hougang Green. As they have those work before in Sin maids and wanna return again so waiting time is shorter than others. Expected arrival is 27 Aug and after those check up/ thumb print etc, will be officially come our place at 1st Sept! And I need to take few more days to train her etc.. Which I have not inform my boss yet! Let's see how its goes. Ok.. Baby woke and need to go attend to him now! Cya

Late for work! Oh my gosh

These few nights I have been surfing net for my boy's 1st birthday ideas & also do some edition of some labels etc till 3-4am! N today I jumped up in shock as it was already 911am! Can't get a taxi on the road & on call also busy! N i told my boss it will be faster taking a train than waiting for cab !! Of cos I work till 730pm that day to return back my late hours!

Back to work!

Oh no.... it's only less than a month from now to work! SO fast 4 months is coming to an end! At the other thought, I'm glad that Ellard is turning 4 mths old :) Enjoy my times with my darling son while I can right now!

Call from ex company!

Surprised to received phone calls from CMK & Tommy Lim from previous company asking whether am I keen to go back there to work! Of cos I told the that depend on the package they offer etc! So now still waiting for their good news if there's any! If not,stick to present job of cos!

Add on workloads

Busy clearing my works after back from Taiwan holiday.. Been struggling from 20-25 June plus taking over some works from my colleague who will be going for Hong Kong holiday on 5th July and another collegue who will be leaving us to sales dept on 2nd July.. There'll be 4 days alone doing 3 persons stuffs next month.. I hope I can survive well till the new gal pick up the rope. God bless me and baby during this transition period..

Transfer of dept

My colleague Serene will be transfer to Sales department with effect from 1st July 2012 as she is keen for doing sales too all this while, But with her leaving, Christina & myself will be struggling with our works & her during her absence.. Gosh.. Which mean after my Taiwan trip, I'll have more additional work loads and taking over stuffs.. With all these, I really counting down for my maternity leave! Haha

Uncle's wake

Hoo & I together with bro, Yuki, Zijian & mum went to uncle's wake on 10 April 2012 Tuesday. Irene's mum did talk to me like before despise knowing me & her daughter not in talking term more than a year. We stayed till about 11pm but mum still stay abit longer there.

Basically from last week till now, really tired for me as we were ask to stay back to help another department doing data entries till 10pm. Not enough sleep at all! They are asking us to stay for tonight & tomorrow but my senior rejected them due to another colleague of our dept on leave so we have to be in our department & also we need to REST!

Drive to work

So nice to be able to drive to work these few weeks while Hoo was in Taiwan! I can wake up at 745am, had my milk & supplements. Left home abt 820am to reach office abt 850am if no major jam! Same thing after work, 6pm sharp left ofc n reached home abt 640pm. Can be earlier if no traffic jam along the paya Lebar Road to KPE!

Anyway, it's still better than taking bus which need at least 1 hr to reach office & home! Enjoy while I can cos Hoo Hoo will be back soon :)

Alice's stuffs

Went to Alice's place at Toa Payoh to pass  her stuffs (6 small carton boxes) which e packed on her last day. Her hubby came down with her to help her carry up etc.. Lucky I still have a car to drive till 3 Feb!

Farewell/CNY lunch for Alice

Today is Alice's last day of work. Sad to say she was dismissed by company today. We only got to know a day before.. Yet no one dare to hint/tell her.

Anyway, she takes it calmly.. Iris treats us for lunch at Seafood Paradise (Defu Lane). After back to office, Alice starts to pack her stuffs etc... 6 boxes of stuffs to bring home and of cos she don't want to leave the office with those boxes today, as it was too obvious!

So she asks for my help to send all those stuffs to her place (Toa Payoh) next day after work.. I just help whatever I can, since Yuki's car is still with me. Hope she's coping it well & all the best to her.
