Hoo brought us to eat chicken rice at Braddel coffee shop. The one with round roll rice. After our luch, we proceed to orchard again due to I wanan see Goyard bag again. To re-confirm the sizes and colours I want so that Pris can help me to get at Paris.Next we went to café at 2nd floor for some cakes and drink before we headed home.

Portfolio CD ready

Alvia delivers Ellard's portfo;io CD on Sunday 4 May 2014 9am. The 82 photos costed me S$500. Too bad is Ellard didn't focus well at the photo session. hence the best we can get is 82 shots. My firend got 120+ for her gal the other times. Well, of cos more pictures will be more worthwhile. We got a A8 frame with 1 of the pic we selected. 5 x 5R and another 8 mini sizes with 2 poses.

Samsung pink Note 3

Suppose to bring my iphone 5 for repair on 17/2 Sat as the on/off button unable to function anymore. I think my boy been throwing my phones too often till it's dis-function.. Instead of paying for repair fee, I trying my luck to sell it at retailer shop & get a brand new Samsung pink note 3. Have frequent this shop for many years & still know this staff. He trade in my phone at $430 & I still need to pay $400 for note 3. I agreed of cos, better than repair might cost me more than $50 I think. And it's also time to change to bigger screen phone to watch my drama movies.

 

After few days of setting up / experiencing my new phone. I realised it was so much easier to use and the pictures turn up nice too. Now, I was wondering how come I despised my note 2 2 years ago & sell it away after 4 mths of using! Maybe I am too obsessed & used to I-phone at the point of time. Haha

 

Seriously no regret of getting my pink note 3 although I need to pay $400 extra instead of extending my contract with my service provider!  Yippeee.. Korea drama for me every nights!

Shopping at Marina Sq

Purposely choose to go Marina Sq today as I wanna take pics with the polar bear in video! Lol .. But ended up I spent $400 at Citylink mall alone before reaching Marina Square! Gosh! When I spent $ getting new clothes mean my maid also will have her new clothes from my unwanted clothes! :)

Scam!

My colleague has lobang for iPad air at $600! Me & Serene was so glad to know it! The only thing is we need to transfer or pay for the items ASAP in irder to get the stock! First come first serve basic! We trusted this colleague of ours so without asking more questions i transfer $600 & serene trf $1800 for 3 orders yesterday! 

Supposingly to get it this morning! And serene got a phone call from My colleague showing her all the conversation he had with the seller and also they message the seller too! The seller claimed need another $1500 to clear custom as the goods are stuck there! Of cos we are not transferring another more $ to him! In a sense that he's very smart to ask for that as my friend paid him $8400 for 14 sets! So he think for sure we will transfer to get all goods!

Anyway my colleague went to make police report this afternoon & told is he will pay us the $ in installment since he is the one recommend this lobang! Let's hope he pays us! Shall see next month did he pay!

Vivo shopping

Brought Ellard & my maid to Vivo City on 9 Nov Saturday! Baby as usual busy looking around. Maid makes him sleep while I shopping for my clothings!

Took some Xmas tree pics and my maid SITI too, took pics etc! Bought Ellard some clothings for casual wear & a shirt for CNY as well! This boy vomits while having his dinenr! Got to bought him some T-shirts to change at FOX!

New fonts

Saw my friend's new blog and realised got new nice fonts! I have been using same old fonts to blog! Kinda of boring! Finally now got some new fonts to set and play with.

 

See, too long never blog and now so "suan gu" !!! haiz.. Busy with my baby as usual.. Keep buying his stuffs online & I have not been buying for myself! These 2 months gonna busy sourcing his 1st birthday cake/ decr/ balloon etc!!

Hipster carrier for my baby?

After one full day of considering! And getting enough of my nonsense, Hoo decided to go expo with me again. But this time we bring baby there to try on the hipster! I have me howling around Pognae & I-Angel counters! Can't make up my mind which to get. Of cos was scolded and given black face by HOO!

Pognae hipster carrier
1) 3 ways carrier and all can be facing inward & outward
2) breathable Ballistic Nylon material.
3) Hood attached to carrier & have a pocket to store when unused.
4) Come with a side sling

I-Angel hipster carrier
1) 2 ways carrier facing inward & outward
2) Material 100% cotton
3) Detachable cover on hot weather for more breathable
4) Detachable sleeping hood

 

Pognae vs I-Angel -> my own opinion as I have been running to both the counters to try on and compare!

What I like about Pognae
-Breathable nylon for hot weather like Singapore as it also easy to maintain, if dirty just wipe with wet cloth. And easily dry up  compared to cotton.
- Sleeping hood is attached to the carrier & can be kept in it's own zip pocket provided if unsuded.
- 2 Velcro tapes in both ends of the connection of the hipseat & carrier after zip up. I feel it double safe at least.

What I dislike about Pognae
-Overall the material abit rough for our skin when come into contact with.
-The extra side sling is such a distraction & extra add on and I am so tempted to get it at first & with the price quite close to I-Angel, but think about it, I will hardly use it as u still need to support baby using one of your hand and I feel unsafe to sling baby this way. Most mummies would prefer to sling/ carry your precious with the most safest & comfortable way right?
- The strap is hard to adjust/ tighten the whole carrier when baby is in it. As you need to pull upward or adjust the clip first then place your baby in. Unless someone is helping you to pull the strap upward when baby is in it!
- The buckle for the strap to click will protrude out when u carry baby. So i always feel it will hurt baby's arm when baby rest his arm on it when facing outward. Even facing inward, if he turn alot of his head to look outside like mine does, i also scare the hard buckle will hurt his neck/face. Maybe I am too paranoid.

What I like about I-Angel
- 100% cotton really make me & baby feel confortable..
- Detachale cover can be remove if necessary.
- The chest strap sew with small piece of cotton which I feel not so painful for baby to rub against the strap if their hands was kept inside.
- The strap can be easily tighten/ adjust by pulling downward when baby is sitted in it without any help from others.

What I dislike about I-Angel
- Sleeping hood did not attached to carrier & wihout a zip pocket to keep it, unlike Pognae. Personally I don't like as i'm a careless person & still need to find some place to store it and what if I lost it?
- 100% cotton indeed is more comfy, but with such hot weather in SG baby & ourselves will tend to prespired alot outside, and when it's wet, will slightly take longer time to dry up and might have sweaty smell. Unless we are in airconditional places, then all mentioned above will not take place :)
- Only one button to secure the hipseat & carrier after the zip up. But like the staff said, if the zip/ velcro tape gonna give way or spoilt, even both end with button also useless! So, it's up to us to decide.

Shopping at Motherhood baby fair May 2013

Informed by Jane that baby fair will be on 30th May to 2nd June 2013! I applied leave & persuaded Daryl too so that we can grab the stuffs I wanted to buy on the 1st day once the hall open! On that morning I woke up very early at 9am! Keep barking Hoo to wake up and we reached there at 10am! Had burger king & wait for awhile before we procced to Hall 6!

 

Guess what, the moment we reached Hall 6 about 1030am, the queue is already damn long to Starbuck! Gosh! And stupidly me went to join the queue too! But was called back by Hoo asking me am I first time to baby fair? N he said did u ever see queue to go in for such events? As the hall door panels will all be open for crowds to go in right? Aiyo!! That knock sense on me! I so excited & nervous when see all the queue & i just joined in without having second thoughts! Hahaha.

 

So both of us just hang around the front door, and Jane arrived at 1040am too. The 3 of us waited patiently till 11am once the hall panels open, Jane dashed in to Merries counter and we followed. We are the firstf few to order many cartons! Me and Hoo carry to our car till hand gonna break! And Jane with her baby in carrier, got the Merries's staff to help her cartons to her car! If I know can be done, I'll ask the staff to help trolley to our car instead of us doing! Haiz!!

 

Nest I went to get Parklon playmat for baby, while I still deciding on which designs to get! Dear Hoo already placed order & paid $$! As usual, he shop fast without thinking! Lucky the Winnie the pooh design looks nice n good! If not, I'm sure nag & nag at him! After this is our Tolly jolly washing & cloth detergent! 1 carton each too! These 3 priorites in my list already got, and so Hoo went back to do some of his work, leaving me there to slowly shop & will come and fetch me about 3pm. I got some baby foods etc there. And i have been looking at Pognae hipster carrier too and on impulse to get one! But the promo buy 2 at $270 instead of 1 at $140. And also the playard is selling 6 panels for about $130, that was cheap than outside selling. So I wanna consider these 2 first!

Taka baby fair on 9 March 2013

Taka baby fair is here again. Hoo decided to get Avent steamer & blender machine for our darling son! Hence, we bought Ellard with us to the fair in the afternoon! Yes, very crowded!! From the crowds, will know how fortunate are those babies & kids nowadays! Both of us spent a lot ! Hoo got $199 Avent steamer/blender machine. While I get those miscellaneous stuffs like mattress cover/ bib/ Avent new bottles & teat/ 6 mth baby training cup /Pigeon detergent wash/ blanket/ beanie etc! $350 we spent entitled a free Fisher Price toy!

Next, we went to CK Tang as I got $300 voucher which will expire in Jun 2013! As Ellard is having flu & cough now. We decide to get him air purifier! AT first we saw a $199 & $299 Novita purifier. But we don't really like the promoters as the guy is abit too much to intro us a $1000+ purifer instead of lower range type! SO we move on to shop shop see see and yet we came across Panasonic purifier at $299 too! And the brand sound so convincing than the other. And I saw a $199 purifer with same fuctions as $299 but only don't have the indication lights to show how much the air being purify which I find it unnecessary since we are going to on it whole night! Guess what, Hoo said buy 2 and he top up the diff of $98! He wants to put one in our room as he always got cough & flu!

Half a day shopping caused us a bomb. But for the sake of our dear son and seeing him healthy & happy makes us feel everythings is worth off.

JB trip

Went JB with Yuki & bro today! Finally to JB after so many mths! Bought 2 pairs of shoes & 1 skinny jean for myself! As for Ellard, I bought him new sarong with auto motor, a walker, clothings etc that cost me about S$300 in total! Gosh....

I think I have been paying alot of Ellard's stuffs eversince I pregnant till now! And still going on n on.....

Ellard's 1st xmas shopping

Since I got car, I decided to bring Ellard to Paragon & Takashimaya.. Yes, shopping time.. but all the buying is for him and not me! Anyway still happy shopping his stuffs :) He is behaving himself so far and till we reached home. Keep it up Ellard :)

 

Swim at Temasek Club

We went for swim at Temasek Club about 1pm! The weather was so hot which I reluctant to go into water at first. But since already there, must as well! Kick in water for abt 20mins and went to shower. Take own sweet time blowing hair dry in air conditioning room. So shiok!

Then, to Toa Payoh as Hoo meeting his colleague there, and of cos I went to kiddy Palace there and I never know the store was so big! It divided into 4 sessions. By the time I finished shopping. Hoo has done with the meeting and came to look for me there! We have our late lunch about 4pm at Jerine's hubby duck rice stall!

Next? Heading home of cos. Both of us was so tired and have our long nap till woke at 8pm! Ordered pizza for dinner as there's soccer match of Liverpool and Arsenal! As usual, lousypool lost! Haha.. My poor Hoo has been losing money on these few matches! He must be feeling very sad !

Long weekends 19-21 Aug 2012

18-20 Aug 2012 long weekends due to Hari Raya Puasa falls on Sunday:) 

18 Aug Saturday, we went to Nex for nasi lemak at Qi Ji, then to get Elesda's 3 yrs old birthday gift of cooking set at Kiddy palace. And a big bucket for my shower during my 1 mth confinment! Keep getting ready for baby, and nearly forgot abt myself, if not how am I going to shower with herbal? Went to Loyang 大伯公 to pray before heading to Changi chalet about 7pm. Left there about 9pm as Hoo wanna go Tampines Mart to buy soccer bet and also rush home to watch the match at 1030pm. Quite a lot of shops at the mart, mainly household stuffs and there's also Guardian & Watsons  Oh no, I'm getting more n more like auntie!

19 Aug Sunday, we went to Serangoon Country Club Yum Chia for dim sum about 2pm. Hoo bought 4D as usual. And he  bought a set of Queen quilt cover set and have his back massage from The Village. Hoo also have his car audio system changed to Pioneer in order to connect with his iphone etc.. I have ask the boss to throw in free video cable of $47 too since the system already costed $450 after trade in his old one! Went home with surprised to see David and family at our place and we went to have nice hokkein mee & satay dinner at Geylang. Long queue for both stalls but Hoo saw how the cook prepared the hokkien mee and he felt so un-hygienced ! Big pail with hole type of tao gey on the floor and also alot of pig oil was used to fry the mee & contents.. Haha..

20 Aug Monday, wake by Hoo early morning abt 8 plus to go out early. We went for breakfast at Greenwich's Toast box, got some grocery at cold storage too. And Hoo suggests to go Bugis Guanyin temple to pray and after that we went OG to get a bigger frying wok that my mil want. We also go Bugis plus too, Hoo got his briefs at Uniqolo and we had our lunch there as well. Taiwan stall but not nice at all! My mil  mince pork with rice is much much nicer than this stall!  Poor Hoo been having diarrhoea since Sunday.. And yes, whatever he eats all gone to wasted! Headed home to rest after that, while I taking a nap, Hoo Hoo went for body massage at Kovan cos he's still having backache after the back massage at The Village. He whatapp me to get ready while he on his way to pick me for a swim at Temasek Club about 6pm plus :) I like this timing as the weather is not so hot and water is just nice for me to dip in ! I think baby also enjoy it very much. We had our pig organ soup dinner at Cheng Mun Chee (Foch Road). I love the 梅菜 there although is quite oily. While I having my last few mouthful of foods, my dearie stomachache again and quickly we proceed to nearby MCDonald toilet. Went to packet 2 mao shan durian at 717 trading at $50 too. Yummy..

Oh ya, been saying wanna get some containers at Daiso during these 3 days and yet never go Rivervale mall :( Hoo said he dun like the mall and foods so I guess I have to go myself when free.. And while I can still shop and walk long. Been having knees pain these 2 weeks if walk too long !! I think my knees can't support my weights anymore! Haha. So whatever I wanna get now better go buy!

MC & Shopping @ Nex

Whole bodyache since Sat night and not feeling well on Sun morning. Hoo drove me to my company doc at Rivervale Plaza before it closed at 1pm! Doc suspected dengue at first but that need blood test to confirm so he gave me pain killer & muscle relieve cream to apply and he gave me 1 day MC ask me to monitor for the next few days. I think I'm  too heaty due to late sleep recently and worst now having sleepless nights ! Can't find the right position to sleep :(

Next day, I woke at 12pm plus, shower and ready to go Nex shopping! Yeah! I dun feel any aching at all in term of shopping! Hahaha. I can walk non stop with big tummy and a little swollen feet! So glad to get what I want all in Nex! 2 Avent baby bottom palm. 1 pkt cotton balls from Watson, 10 pkts Sterilise cotton balls & calcium from Unity, 1 three quarter pant & 2 shorts for maternity wear, 1 vacuum flask 350ml for mil, 2 strapless bras can be wear now till nursing from Isetan with $20 voucher to offset, 1 Pigeon sterilise tong, 2 Pigeon baby nose suckling thingys, 2 pkts of XL disposable panties for confinement wear, 1 J&J baby oil from NTUC with $20 voucher to offset. And so lucky, Pigeon & Avent are having 20% at NTUC now.. Lucky just now I did not get any from kiddy palace or Isetan :) Lastly I wanna get baby books from Popular, but don't have what I want and those on shelves doesnt interest me too.Somemore those stuffs I bought alr so heavy and I've been shopping for almost 5 hrs non stop and just realised I havent had my lunch! Haha.. Hungry & fainting soon... So headed home and have my dinner wout unpacking/ shower. LOL.

Happy spending & fulfilling shopping trip with all I needed but wout baby books. No worry, I shall go United Square Bookurra bookstore one of these day.. Heehee

Manicure / class / shopping at AMK

Appointment for pedi & mani at 1pm at Amk central. Seriously this package is cheap but the staffs are not professional at all! I left 3 times after today usage and I hope to get it done over soon! I went over to red tomato to survey QV & Cetaphill products for baby and I saw the sebamed promo pack they are selling at $36.50! WTF!! If I knw earlier, can get from here and my $10 watson voucher can buy Cetaphill body lotion 200ml x 2 promo pack for $30 and if less $10, I only paid $20! And with $56.5, I will have sebamed body wash & Cetaphill lotion (best of both worlds right?). Shit Shit Shit!!! Now I paying $40 for sebamed and if I gonna get Cetaphill I need pay another $30, ttl $70! Extra $13.50 can get size s diapers for baby liao :( WTF WTF WTF WTF WTF! Impulsive buy again just like FLO! I hate myself :(

Next we went to our class at 3pm with Wong Boi Boi, today she showed us process of giving birth video! Those Caucasians seem so easy to pop out a baby! Haha.. The moments their baby was out, I felt so emotional & tear rolling in my eyes! I thk I will cry in delights and pain at the same time when little Hoo is out :D Little Hoo was very active during the class, he was moving almost all the time & at last Hoo can touch & see our baby moving in my tummy after so many attempts trying to feel bb move! Next Tues will have talk seminar of taking care of baby at Singapore Chinese girl school and I'll be attending alone cos Hoo is attending Iggy's promo parade! See, now we knw his priority huh..

Bought black size L belly support from mums & babe finally but with only 12% disc using UOB ladycard! Which mean I need to pay a $31+, $5 more than Taka bb fair!!! Pissed :(  Spent money again..... and fast! Haiz.

Most satisfying dinner done by mil & Suyie this evening with fresh fish got from Hoo at NTUC..   And finally have the awful liver fried with black vinegar too. Oh yes, plus durian from 717 trading on Hoo as he won soccer bet :)

FLO lucky draw & shopping

Was invited to FLO today for participate in the car lucky draw of being 1 of the 186 ppl who got the unit there! 6 cars to be won and I do hope I was 1 of them so that I wont feel so sad for not waiting for Parc Centros and get a unit at FLO impulsively!

To my disappointment, I'm not that lucky to be 1 of the winner :(  Haha! Well, face the reality and looking forward for the completion of FLO in 2016 lor! Nothing can be done, can't rewind back too! LOL..

Followed by Takashimaya to get tummy belt support from BB fair but left with size XL which is too big for me so I got a bb romper $5. Hoo got me 2 night pants for maternity wear, 1 dress & 1 top for work from Uniqolo at $67. Went over to Paragon, I got Sebamed twin promo pack of baby bath from Watson at $50, nut offset $10 voucher from Standard Chartered and I paid only $40. Hoo went to terminated M1 line for my laptop he got me 2 yrs back. Last but not least, I went Aussino and ended up bought 5 sets of bedsheet/ quit cover set at S$150!! Gosh!!! Spent around $200 today :(

Collection of Baby Mittens

Received phone call from Spring Maternity and my baby mittens are ready to be collected. So I went down on Monday evening after work to Nex and get 2 pairs of mittens in yellow & strip green. And also I went to Kiddy Palace and get a nail cutter for baby.. Can't find the Bam beanie pillow and Tena pad there. Maybe out of stock i think. So will try other brand again if come across..
