Count down to 2015

We went Temasek Club for last count down as it will be closed and shift to new place next year.  Our ticket consisted of dinner buffet & lucky draw. Sea & Windee joined us too. It was quite fun and Daryl got the best dressed man! haha.. Kinda of weird combination yet got the best!  Happy 2015 & may our wishes come true! Good health and wealth forever!

 

 

Caroling on 24th Dec 2014

Suyie & her church friends came to our house for carolling. They sing song & each hold a candle. Suyie plays guitar and didn't know she can play well. My boy wants me to carry throut and he keeps seeing them with curiousity. After that, he keeps telling me uncles, aunties hold the candle. Jie Jie & kou kou sing etc..

 

Halloween night at USS (HHN4)

We went to HHN4 at USS with friends on 23 Oct after work. Daryl & I had our face painted at $10 each outside USS. About 715pm, people started to go in. And we start our horror journey at USS. 4 horror houses, same as last years and we visit all within 1 hour as we are having express pass + not much queue too, maybe due to Thursday (weekday).

 

This year, I dare to look around inside the horror houses. I think it is because going with big group of friends make me less scare. hahaha.. and I realised this year is not as scary as last year! But overall, we are having so much funs tonight!

 

 

Ellard's 2nd Birthday Celebration

This year, we celebrate Ellard's 2nd birthday at Treehouse chalet. Daryl booked 1-3 Oct, and we will celebrate 1 day earlier which is on 2nd Oct. We checked in on 1st Oct, and Ellard is so excited of this big house and he keeps walking up & down the stairs with Siti has to look after him.  We had our dinner at Changi Village that night, not that fantastic for this Chinese stall selling Halal seafood.

 

Next day, we have a few errands to run. Morning, Daryl went back to work. I busy with the decoration and balloons. About 2pm, Daryl & I went to collect balloon bouquets at Parkway, satay at Bedok and proceed to Pine garden at AMK for cake collection.

 

Back about 4 plus, settled our things and have to start fire for bbq. With our family and friends come at 7pm and so on.. Ellard was having fun with all the kiddos. We cut the cake around 830pm. Everythings ended around 11pm. Siti to make our tired and grouchy Ellard to sleeps while we clear the stuffs.

 

Super heroes photoshoot

Kok Meng approached Daryl & Ellard to help him for his wedding shoot as super heroes outfit. We bought Ellard spidey outfit & as for daryl, he rented his at $50! Photo shoot with kids are abit tedious as all can't stay focus/ concentrate for too long. As for Ellard, he will sticks to Daryl or me.. So we distracted him by feeding him grapes. And the photographer too, on Barney cartoon on his hp to show them while shooting! Finally it ended about 10pm plus after 3 hrs shoot!

 

Dinner & Movie on Labour day

We brought Ellard to Sengkang swimming complex for waterplay. At night we are meeting Daryl;'s friends & partner for dinner at The Cathay - Astons and proceed for spiderman movie after that. Such a great & fun gatherings that we hardly have. Hope for the next one soon.

CNY day 9 ~ To boss & cassandra's house

Visiting Daryl's boss place at Choa Chu Kang for awhile & then to Cassandra's place! Great gathering at her place with those long time no see friends:) Ellard too, enjoying playing with all the kids & toys! He was having so much fun till he straight away fall asleep when in the car.

Meeting with Tiff

22/8/13 Tiff came to fetch us to Tampines One for lunch. As we are quite early so she suggests to shop at Times bookstore before the restaurant open at 11am. She was getting few story books & when I ask who she buying for, she replied for her nephew. But ended up after she paid up, she passes to Ellard! Saying a gift for Him! She even treats Dim Sum at Imperial Treasure Restaurant.  That's really nice of her:)

Baby Kyston

This afternoon me & Daryl went to visit Naomi & baby at Punggol twenty four ave . Today will be their last stay there doing confinement! She was doing great & baby Kyston is such a cutie boy! Happy for her n hubby with their darling son:)

Dinner with Yuki at Nex

Meeting Yuki to have pepperlunch dinner at Bishan. Ended up she came to pick me only at 7pm and we went to eat chicken pot at Nex instead, so that can shop abit after dinner. Both of us got common topic ~ our baby boys. And she said much cheaper to get some of the thgs in JB and her sis in law will help her buy some stuffs. As for me, i ask her to get 3 bb stuffs from me there too since her sil is gettingn for her next week.

After our window shopping, I went to their place visit my mum. Chat for awhile and then they drive me home.. It quite heartwarming to gather with them once a while. Next time will visit them with baby so that the 2 boys can play together. LOL

Cheyanne & family visit ~ 1 Jul 2012

As arranged 1 mth ago, Cheyanne n Zhiwei together with their 2 gals came to our place at 1230pm. I went to buy KFC as requested by them. This is their first time meeting Daryl, and Zhiwei longed to try out Nespresso coffee by Daryl. Cheyanne and myself chatted in baby room and she seeing the stuffs I bought etc., They left abt 4pm as Sara is about to sleep at that time.

We washed up and do our houseworks before heading to watch Spiderman at Vivo. And Hoo got us premium tickets with comfortable reclinable seat & blanket thruout the show. So cosy n nice :)

Pissed/upset with a use to be friend!

Been so many years of friendship and I found out this use to be close girlfriend did to me today! So angry + pissed & upset at the same time. She's been corrupted or so called brain wash with some bad ideas from someone too! I can sense it since April during our conversation in skype! But this time totally worst! Really disappointed with her! So stupid of me still treated her to Taiwan last year and dinner at The Line etc.. And every outings, I'll ensure she will reach home safe or even fetch her from her place out etc.. Will definitely spare a thoughts for her and ended up doing more! Nabei, such a waste of our petrol / time and efforts on this type of person! She just take things for granted and really think she is queen that we must do things for her?? Even Hoo also saod no point clarify with her cos she is not worth of! And yes I totally agreed! If she can easily gave up our friendship mean she did not think of what I have done for her at all! She'll get her own cause sooner or later, and time will tell what type of person she is!

Shopping & meeting Qiuhua

My birthday today alone with baby Hoo to Nex in the afternoon to have my lunch & get some baby stuffs as big Hoo went for mahjong competition at Temasek Club. Been wandering at Spring maternity & Kiddy palace for few hours.. So many things to see and tempt to buy but of cos can't grab all I like. Must be really useful and in need of cos. That is why I ask Qiuhua to meet me to shop for baby stuffs but she was busy that day, till 5pm she called me said she ok to meet me at Nex! While waiting for her, I went Isetan to see flask too. I still think Tiger brand flask is better in term of hygience purpose etc but more costly compared to other brands.

Qiuhua came with her 2 gals around 6pm. Still thinking she can helps me with my shopping but ended up she needs to look after / shouting at her 2 princess who grabbing toys at Kiddy place/ Spring maternity etc.. And I told her if we going for serious shopping next time, dun bring kids along. If not we can't shop properly at all. And she revealed a good news to me that she's once again pregnant with 3rd child! Wow.. nice to hear that and also head off to them as her hubby always want to have 6 kids if possible but now he said at least 4! But Qiuhua told him 3 is enough this time. And I think they are trying for 1 boy this time. It will be tough with only her hubby working now! It is too soon to tell baby's gender, and her EDD will probably be in Jan 2013. She will update me 1st July when she come my place for lunch,.after her check on 30 Jun. So nice my baby got another friend to play with. We went to have Teochew porridge along Kovan for dinner and big Hoo came to fetch me home. And he got 2nd place in mahjong competition :)

Steamboat gathering & movie on 9 Jun

Hoo invited his friends & family to our place for small gathering and steamboat on 9 June Sat. He went to buy alot of steamboat groceries on Fri nite. Sat morning I woke at 10am to have the house works done and Hoo helped out with mopping of floor. It's really dusty u knw! No matter how we clean, it still dirty with stains cos that stupid tiles provided by so call "premier flat" are so lousy and trap dusts easily!! I even changed bedsheets & do all laundry. Must get all those done before our trip cos back from trips another few piles of clothings! Gosh!! After houseworks, we went Sheng Shiong to get fresh prawns and home to store then headed to our facial appointment at 1pm @ AMK. Finally bought my cotton on size 12 shorts for my size now! It was 2 for $20, Yippee.. Lucky i did not buy last 2 weeks when it was $24.95 1st pc & 2nd on half price! I got 2 tops & 2 shorts at $40 :)

Back to steamboat gathering. Hoo also fried chix wings & mil fried her speciality prawns. Whole kitchen was so messy & oily as expected.. And his friends come around 630pm onward, Nick & Tristine passed us Maxi Cosy baby carseat which is in good condition n look comfy :) They will pass us pram later part too and Cassandra will also be passing us stroller.. These 2 are quite costly baby stuffs that we can save on! So happy!

Done all the washing on and off after they finished the steamboat with the help of Cassandra's maid. Guests left abt 10pm tat night and we followed by cleaning & mopping of kitchen & hall. No rest at all, get shower & headed for midnight movie Prometheus at AMK hub! A gross show lor which i thk pregnant lady not suppose to watch .. And Hoo covered my eyes on those important scenes which ended up i dun knw wat this show abt lah actually. Haha.. Hoo still engrossed with Diablo after we back from movie, and we ended our busy Sat abt 4am in the morning.

That friend of mine which I mentioned in my earlier mail who wanna sell me her baby stuffs call me again! This time not asking me to buy things from her, but she wants me to pass her my unwanted clothings for her to SELL in motherhood after I've packed/cleared my wardrobe for baby's.  Gosh, I should have ask her after she sells, how she going to spilt the $$! I think nothing for me as she said give her my unwanted clothings which mean all those stuffs will belong to her instead right? Haiz...

I don't think I'll pass her. I rather keep for flea market / charity in future. LOL

Cheyanne's family visiting day - 25 Mar 2012

Lazy to blog these days...  Always have to backdate my blogs.. if I remember lah!

Cheyanne, Zhiwei & their 2 lovely princesses came to our place yesterday afternoon abt 430pm! Nicole was already 4 this yrs and little Sarah was 22 mths. Cheeky Nicole will lecture little sis and even told her off if Sarah wants to her to help to get somethings. Both was talkative & Sarah was picking up things fast from Nicole. Good to have siblings ya?

Both gals was so distracted and ask me for toys! Haha.. I got no toys of cos.. Maybe they shall come again next yr & i will have some at home.. LOL

We went to have KFC for dinner at Pungol Promenade (Golf Club) and they send me home abt 815pm. Which then I drove to AMK to collect my developed wedding photos! Went to mum's place to pass her some of her pictures and headed home to catch 拜金女王 last episode.

While watching, I do the ironing at the same time.. After that, I watched the follow up korea drama 灿烂人生 ontinuous 2 episodes! Still can't sleep so had my milk and try to slp yet did not slp well the whole night!

Now my eyes are so tired n heavy! Can doze off anytime i guess.. But need to struggle till 6pm. Damn sian lor!

 

Dawn & Celest 's swimming competition

This morning, as Hoo promised Cassandra to fetch her & her 2 gals to Serangoon Country Club for Dawn & Celest's swimming competition! Forcing ourselves to wake at 930am, shower & get ready to drive out at 1005am! Got them at 1030am, reached Country Club at 11am! And gosh.. Still need to wake till 12pm for competition starts! There's no more seats left under the shelter which all was occupied by those early birds! We got seats under the shade instead but it was still damn hot!  And I can feel burning sensation! I tried to stay out from the sun & went into the aircon building after seeing Dawn's 1st event! Due to the hot weather, the aircon doesn't seem working! The whole event ended at 2pm & we got our late lunch at "Yum Cha".

Reached home at 3 plus, Hoo continued his soccer game & I go for a nap! Hardly / not used to  have afternoon nap in weekends. But surprisingly I napped till 7pm! Wonderful isn't it :)

Lunch with colleagues

Brought ZJ with me to meet colleagues for lunch at Equinox at swisshotel. Located at 70 floor with nice views of Marina Baysands, flyer & Explanade! International buffets which quite a waste as I don't take oysters/ shells etc... Main course of salmon & chicken which ZJ likes the tender chicken so much & he finished all :)

Next, took train to Punggol Regalia to meet curtain supplier and to choose materials! Ended up we did not get from her as we got from Clementi Central instead which recommended by my friend ~May Soon.

Gathering @ Jennifer & Sijie's house - 13 Nov 2011

Finally, after much persuasion from Win Dee & Cassandra, we get to visit Jennifer & Sijie's private property after one year! Just 10 mins walking distance to Kembangan mrt station. Corner unit penthouse, bright & windy. Lucky them managed to get this private house last year before government new ruling of can't have HDB & private at the same time!

Cas's birthday 28 Oct 2011

Hoo came to fetch me from office yesterday evening & went to collect cake from Emicakes @ AMK central. 

Followed by meeting Peter from Weikan.com at Trade Hub to discuss our renovation package etc.. Yes, he is indeed friendly & negotiable man as what Hoo described. The whole quotation came out abt 31k + 1190 electrical works. And I have managed to make him throw in quite a nos of stuffs on top of those in quotation! But I still find the price expensive! Yet compared to others, he is the cheapest with lots of things included in! I told him I'll consider over weekends & will come back to him on Monday although Hoo & myself have already decide to let him do the renovation.

We proceed to Temasek Club ktv to celebrate Cassandra's 37th birthday! Having lot of funs & laughters with the couples & friends :)
