Ellard's birthday cake by me

I decided to make a simple fondant cake for Ellard's birthday on actual day! I followed the design from a book I bought at phoon Huat. It has presents & balloons on the cake which balloons are Ellard's favourite as of now.

I decided to make the cake 1 day in advance so I rushed home after dinner treat from boss about 9pm to start the baking and the fondant colourings and designs with the help if my maid (SITI) as she also has some passion of fondant cake. We completed everythgs abt 1am. 

Quite satisfied the result as it was my 1st attempt! Of cos there's still plenty of room for improvement:)
