Took a cab to Furama Riverfront Hotel to attend a wedding dinner of Dary;'s colleague. Daryl was there early for sword bearers rehearsal, so I have to go on my own. Cab driver asked is it the old Apollo Hotel? I told him I'm not sure! And he asked me again am I going to the night club there?? WTF!! I remembered there's this famous 天安门 night club located right below the hotel! Mind you ok.. I'm wearing so decent that evening, a look at me don't seem to work as nightclub girl ok!
Reached there and took pictures of the 10 sword bearers! They looked smart in their nos 1 uniform. As requested by the newly wed couple, they don't want any pranks during their march in etc.. Hence, they just walked pass those honour guards and to the stage "in peace" ! Not sporting at all lor... and lot of "boooo" & "Ooooi" from our table!
Showing of video clip from bride's friends making them cards/ special wishes etc.. Not creative at all & abit bored I found.. Faint.. Hope our wedding won't turn out this way! Haha.. The most interesting part is the groom sang a special song created by his own to the bride! At first we only hear the music & song, slowly the groom walks in with the mic. Only he himself knows what he's singing cos the lyric was not shown on video screen.. Heehee.. Our table laugh & make the most noise! The best part after the whole song, the groom ran up to the stage & hug the bride! It was so DRAMA! We thought these scenes only appeared in Korean show etc .. Yet we saw it on "live"! Haha.. I told Daryl don't do this on our wedding night cos I won't get touch at all, I will giggle all the way! So funny lor! Overheard the bridemaids saying they are so touched and even cry in the washroom. Sorry to say that, once again, that makes me laugh! Hahaha
"angbao" for being honour guard |
Daryl wanna go Clarke Quay or Temasek Club for a drink & watch soccer at the same time. But I was too tired for it! That 4 inch heels make me feel so uncomfortable! So I suggested to go Ice Cube Cafe for ice cream before heading home :)
