After checking the FD rate with some banks. I still find Hong Leong Finance got the best as of this month (NOV)! Therefore, I decided to get cashier order from DBS to my own payee name! Either the customer srv officer gave me wrong info or I heard wrongly. She said I need to pay S$5 charge if I get a cashier order in the bank payee to my name, therefore if I do it in internet banking, I did not need to pay extra charge! So i went to do it yesterday online & they allowed 1 transaction is 10k max! Which mean if i need more amount then u need to do 10k X nos of transactions! I was asked to select nearer branch which I choose Jurong point as it's nearer to my workplace so that I can collect it the same day before 530pm!
About 30 mins later, I received a call from Jurong point's teller saying I can actually go to any DBS banks to get a free cashier order to my name as payee! Shouldn't have to go thru internet banking. Am i deaf or the customer srv officer on the phone with me earlier got problem? If that's the case, I wont have to trouble myself doing those unneccesary things lor.. Gosh. So i just ask the teller to proceed & I'll collect it by 530pm then. The customer srv officer also informed me to get my cashier order on the 1st lane under "Treasures", supposely to be in shorter queue!

Happily I reached at 430pm & proceed to the bank's "Treasures lane", the teller is attending to an old couple. Never did I know that the old couple took a long time there, I've waited for 25 mins at least! Even one of the customer after i walked in, queued at the normal lane was already got attended! Gosh! Feel so lousy & as usual the frustration shown on my face! I click "unacceptable" waiting time on the machine in that counter.
